Services & Subscriptions

Why do I need a subscription?

You need a subscription to have full access to the smart features of your charge point.

What is the advantage of a subscription?

With a subscription, you receive access to an online dashboard providing real time insights into your charging sessions. Stay up to date with the charging status of your EV, and have a clear overview of your charging history with our smart services subscription. You can also get easily reimbursed for electricity costs per charge session at home, and activate options to manage guest usage (only possible with the Home Advanced, Business Pro and Business Lite charge points).

How and when can I end my subscription?

You can end your subscription by going into the settings of the charge point within your my.newmotion account. You can stop your subscription any time. However, in doing so, you will lose access to all our subscription-enabled smart services.

How can I manage access and reimbursement for selected cards?

Watch this video if you would like to grant access to a selected group of charge card owners, to enable them to charge at your charge point for free or for a certain tariff. Think of neighbors or family members if you have a charge point at home; or of employees if you manage charge points at a business location.

For any guests that are outside of this selected group and thus require a different tariff, watch the video on "How can I configure the guest usage option?”.
