Guest Usage

What does guest usage mean?

Guest usage is an option available only when your charge point has an RFID card reader and with our Plus subscription. If you allow Guest usage, people with a NewMotion charge card, or a charge card from one of our partners, can use your charge point. You can either allow guest usage for specific charge card numbers, or for anybody.

You can even publish your charge point in our app and on the map (my.newmotion.com). This is optional. If published, your charge point would be visible in our app and on the map within my.newmotion.com, and becomes a part of the NewMotion public charging network.

How can I manage access and reimbursement for selected cards?

Watch this video if you would like to grant access to a selected group of charge card owners, and to enable them to charge at your charge point for free or for a certain tariff. Think of neighbors or family members if you have a charge point at home; or employees if you manage charge points at a business location.
